Ok, I just realized a major plus on the AG wipe-out, all inactive members are gone, so therefore our herds are clean of inactive leaders.
On the other hand, what of our active ones? Could I possibly try and gather as much information as to those who are active and wish to remain so, no matter where Assia finally winds up? I'm aware of the whole, no rping thing, but that's one big step to rebuilding Assia, is active herd leaders.
Another thing,
Are we going to come up with an explanation as to what happened to Assia in the few weeks of down time, as well as small up times?
Perhaps a natural disaster, as WOA did when there was a hack. They said there was a 'great-fire' and all horses had to flee the entirety of Avalon.
Perhaps an earthquake is responsible for the disappearance of many horses, which may or may not return? This would still be Assia but, it had to be evacuated and then now there are horses returning?
An earthquake could make some major interesting changes to the topography as well, if anyone is interested in a new scene for a couple of herdlands?
Or seeing as it was summer when AG finally went down, perhaps we could say a drought occured, or perhaps a major storm system came from the seas beyond Lauscaux and completely covered Assia?
To me, an earthquake would seem very fun and perhaps could bring in new members who are interested in seeing the rebuilding of a broken civilization of survivors.

I really like that idea myself. It would lead to some interesting future plotage as well as a chance for people to guiltlessly drop some of their excess characters. I know I have one to drop. But yeah. Awesome Spazzie!

Homgosh, Spazzie. That is an excellent idea. I know that I would love to see lots of cliffs in Assia, 'cause that would be what would happen. Personally, I think that possibly, a severe earthquake could also cause flooding, which would be accompanied by disease. So pretty much, either peoples' characters fled the original earthquake, drowned in the flooding, or died of the disease afterwards. It gives us lots of options. xD If we do that, I have to figure out what characters I should kill off.... oo;[/color]

o: Ohhh, I really like that idea. Hah, the earthquakes and what not could result in the erruption of the volcano in Firecrack. would cause a hell of a mess for most of the continent. And on leads- I think if we can get as many of the original leads to come here than it'll go to them, but any left open could be a first come first serve claim.

Oooh. An earthquake would be a good explanation, and could certainly shake things up. ^^' And like Spazzie said, allow room for topography changes... >xD

xD I came up with Noa's idea about the Firecrack chain reaction earthquake thing. Then I noticed she'd already put it.
I like the sound of an earthquake/volcanic erruption? o:

I'm game for Firecrack erupting. I mean, there is a lot of plot stuff that can come from that and all sorts of new and fun things to plan.

Volcanic erruptions are like an all-in-one deal. You've got your seismic blasts, ash and junk, earthy-quake type things. I'm game for that.
